Dior Sauvage

Eau de Toilette

A fantastic fresh, blue scent with strong projection and longevity. Launched in 2015, François Demachy created this masterpiece as the in-house perfumer for Dior. Sauvage is perhaps the best known blue fragrance, and for good reason. It is largely mass appealing and widely available.

Initial Impressions & Review

I was late to the game on this one. I first smelled this back in 2017 at a mall in Bogota and I was blown away. It smelled, fresh, masculine and somewhat linear. In 2019 I took the dive and bought a full bottle of this and it’s EDP brother. I’d consider this a phenominal everyday scent, it is highly versatile and quite mass appealing. Long lasting freshness and spiciness is the name of the game. While it is considered to be “generic” or “too popular” by some, I couldn’t care less and neither should you.

Sillage and Longevity

Long lasting on moisturized skin, Sauvage gets me through the work day with two, maximum three sprays. It projects very strongly on my skin. Others will catch wafts of this with you walking by. Personally, when I sprayed it on my neck I found that I went noseblind to it rather quickly.

Solid 8 hours or so of performance.
